Something unusual happened while we shot this set. Los Angeles had a late Spring this year. Just when you thought Summer was over (unless you're down under), I have a great shoot of Doll at Zuma Beach. It was a perfect day for for a shoot. There were very few people around - only one guy trying to look in on our business, but he didn't get close enough to hinder the shoot. The weather was perfect as well. The tide was a bit high and the waves surprised us a couple of times. Not only did she get soaked, but I did as well. After the shoot we were starving and searched for a place to have lunch. I found a place called the Paradise Cove Beach Cafe in Malibu. This place is the best kept secret. I've driven by it so many times and never knew it was there. It's right on the beach, off of Pacific Coast Hwy. But you can't see it from the road; you can only see a sign. There are tables with umbrellas on the beach as well as inside seating. There is full bar service inside and out. The food was awesome. I had a swordfish steak and possibly the best clam chowder I've ever tasted. This is a great place to hang out on a sunny afternoon and have some drinks and great food. I really enjoyed the place and look forward to the next opportunity to hang out there. We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed shooting them.
